EPA's Energy Star Home Improvement Resources

EPA's Energy Star Home Improvement hub has a great set of resources on how to  reduce your energy bills whether you are renovating, fixing common problems, or hiring someone to do it for you. There's also a product guide for every type of product that carries an Energy Star label.

Google.org's Powermeter

Google.org's Powermeter site has a great list of tips on everthing home energy related. From heating and cooling, to water, to electronics and other appliances, the site links you to a breadth of resources and tools. Google.org will be officially launching Google Powermeter (a tool that receives information directly from the utilities to allow people to track their home energy consumption) later this year, so keep an eye out for that.

treehugger's Video Review of Home Energy Monitors

Treehugger always does a really great job of reviewing the coolest green gadgets. Check out this series of videos if you're in the market for a home energy monitor.
